Earlier this year, I went to Vegas where I didn’t get married but I did do the next best thing. I proposed to my beautiful girlfriend Louise. We have been together for almost 8 years the timing seemed perfect, and of course she said yes.
MIAMI – PHOTOS
Who said turning 30 was a bad thing? I can’t complain. I had a great party with my nearest and dearest, then a few days later I jetted off to Miami for a week. What a remarkable and beautiful city, full of vibrant greenery and the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. We rented a car for a week and really got to take in the sites, sounds and occasional photo, ok maybe I took more than a few photo’s! Using my Panasonic Lumix G1 Camera with 45mm-200mm lens, I was able to get close portrait, macro and even a few long exposure night shots. I fell in love with Miami and America in general I can’t wait to go back and take more photos.
FAMILY
It was recently my niece Laurens 7th Birthday. I can’t believe she is seven already. Being the snap happy uncle I am, I thought I’d pop over to her party with my camera. Just moments after stepping into a house full of screaming kids, I took this shot of her hiding behind the curtains. Not sure if they were playing kiss chase, or tag but it captures her essence beautifully.
IBIZA
I was lucky enough to experience Ibiza last year. Close friends of mine have been together for 10+ years and the idea of a traditional honeymoon just didn’t appeal to them. They just wanted to spend the time with friends, enjoying the sun and having a party. San Miguel was cheaper than water so as you can imagine! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, here are just a few pictures!
