Thank you for taking the time to visit my little corner of the web. It’s called my creative corner because it’s a place that represents many different parts of my work and personality.
Being a senior designer takes centre stage. I have worked in the publishing industry for the past 11 years producing in-house publications, artwork, illustrations and printed media. I have experience in leading a team of designers and tendering for large contracts, having personally secured new design contracts with Newport Council, Cardiff Airport and the University of Wales, among others.
On the occasional evening and weekend I like to work freelance. This allows me to work on more diverse projects and stretch those creative muscles. I have developed excellent working relationships and produced advertising and marketing material for companies such as Red Bull, BBC 1Xtra, S4C, Cardiff Students Union, Vodka Revolution (Regional) & O2 Academy Bristol.
If I’m not working for the man I like to dig out the pencils and take the time illustrate things. These usually come in the form of TV shows that I’m really into or just ideas that are bouncing around in my head. You may start to think what does this guy do for a break away from it all? Well that’s easy. I love music mountain biking and photography. I’m always taking photos of things and I’m probably at my worst when I go on holiday where I become slightly obsessed with capturing every moment.
